ABOUT MIKE MCGRUDER

NFL cornerback who helped lead the New England Patriots to Super Bowl XXXI. He also played for the Miami Dolphins, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He captained the football and track teams at Kent State University and went on to make his professional debut with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

In 1997, he was nominated for the NFL's prestigious Bart Starr Award.

He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He has two daughters named Dior and Jenerra.

He and his New England Patriots teammates were defeated in the Super Bowl by quarterback Brett Favre 's Green Bay Packers team.
