ABOUT MIKE RAMSEY

Former hockey defenceman best known for being a member of the famous "Miracle on Ice" 1980 Olympic men's hockey team. He played in four NHL All-Star Games from 1982 to 1986.

He was born in Minneapolis and played college hockey at the University of Minnesota.

He was the youngest member of the "Miracle on Ice" Olympic team.

All three of his children, Rachel, Hannah and Jack, have played hockey.

He was teammates with Jim Craig on the 1980 U.S. Olympic men's hockey team.
