ABOUT MIKE RICHTER

Goaltender known for his exciting, intense style of play, he was a three-time NHL All-Star, a Stanley Cup champion in 1994, and an Olympic silver medalist in 2002.

He attended Germantown Academy in Pennsylvania.

He is a member of the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame.

He has two sons, James and Thomas.

Center Mark Messier was his teammate on the Stanley Cup-winning Rangers.
