ABOUT MIKKEL BOE FøLSGAARD
Danish actor known internationally for his portrayal of Martin in the post-apocalyptic streaming series The Rain . He made his feature film debut in 2012's A Royal Affair, starring Mads Mikkelsen . In 2023, he appeared in a lead role in the thriller film Superposition.
He attended the Danish National School of Performing Arts.
He was named Best Actor at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival for his performance in A Royal Affair. That same role also earned him a Bodil Award for Best Actor.
He and Freja Friis tied the knot in 2016.
He worked with Alba August and Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen on the cast of The Rain.
