ABOUT MITCHELL EVANS

Former fifth rounder that was selected by the Carolina Panthers during the 2025 NFL Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Notre Dame . During his senior season, he was named a semi-finalist for the John Mackey award for being the best tight end in college football.

He played both offense and defense while at Wadsworth High School. At the time, he played the position of quarterback.

During his final season at Notre Dame, he and his teammates led a rushing attack that finished top 5 in yards per carry. Their 210.8 rushing yards per game also ranked top 10 in the country.

He is a native of Wadsworth, Ohio. While growing up, he lived with his parents and his sister, Kacie.

He is a former college teammate of Michael Mayer .
