Singer whose fusion of pop music and traditional Iranian music has made him an international icon. He has released more than 20 albums and a slew of hit singles, including "Kabeh," "Havas" and "Miparastam."
He began his career as a radio singer before releasing his first album, Miparastam, in 1983.
He has performed at prestigious venues around the world, including the Dubai Opera House and Royal Albert Hall in London.
His real name is Nasrollah Moein Najafabadi. He has daughters named Parichehr and Setareh.
He has performed live with Siavash Ghomayshi .
