Japanese singer and actress who had a career span from 1972 to 1980, during which she released twenty-one albums with three #1 hits.
She auditioned to be on the television show Star Tanjō! at the age of thirteen and, after coming in second in the competition, she signed with Hori Productions.
She released an autobiography in 1981 called Aoi Toki, in which she admitted to disliking when she had to sing her songs over and over.
She married Tomokazu Miura in 1980.
