Moneoa Moshesh

ABOUT MONEOA MOSHESH

Often referred to only as Moneoa, she is a soul and popsinger as well as a dancer. Her debut album Coming From Going To was released in February 2014 and it earned her Channel O Music Awards and Metro FM Music Awards nominations. Her second album Ndim Lo was nominated for two Metro FM Music Awards.

She grew up in extreme poverty, raised by her single mother. She worked extremely hard on her dancing so that she could enter competitions and win the prize money. She also modeled outside of school so she could help pay the bills.

Her aunt is a famous South African actress named Nthati Moshesh.

She was born in Mthatha but quickly moved with her mother to Durban, away from the rest of the family. Later they moved to Johannesburg, where she resides today.

She has collaborated with many artists like DJ Culoe De Song .
