ABOUT MOSES GUNN
Actor who played Othello on Broadway and was a 1976 Tony Award nominee for The Poison Tree. He also starred on stage in Jean Genet's The Blacks.
He grew up in Missouri with six siblings and went on to attend Tennessee State University for college and Kansas University for graduate school.
His performance in Roots, a 1977 television miniseries, earned him an Emmy nomination.
He and his wife, Gwendolyn Mumma Landes, became parents to a son named Justin.
He won an Obie Award for his performance in Titus Andronicus, a Shakespeare play produced by director Joseph Papp 's Shakespeare in the Park company.
