ABOUT MOSTAFA ALNAGAR

Egyptian politician and human rights writer who is known for having an integral role in the January 25, 2011 Egyptian Revolution. He provided TV coverage for viewing Egyptian audiences, and documented the conditions for protesters during the revolt.

He graduated from Cairo University with a degree in dentistry. He subsequently graduated with a master's degree in mass communication from the American University in Cairo.

In 2010, he won an honorary award from the United Nations Human Rights Council in recognition of his work on his blog Ana Ma`ahum (I Am With Them). Following the Egyptian Revolution, he co-founded the centrist al-Adl Party in July 2011.

He was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt.

He was a vocal opponent of Hosni Mubarak 's Egyptian government, and later covered his criminal trial during the summer of 2011.
