ABOUT MOUNIR FAKHRY
Egyptian politician who became Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade in July, 2013. He was previously the secretary-general of the Wafd Party.
He graduated from Cairo University with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science.
He started his career as a businessman at American Express and founded the Vitrac Company in 1980.
He comes from a Coptic Christian family.
He came to power after Hosni Mubarak stepped down from power.
