ABOUT NANCY WHANG

Singer and keyboardist most famous for being a touring member of  the James Murphy -led dance-rock project LCD Soundsystem. She is also known for her work with dance acts like Classixx, Soulwax and The Juan MacLean.

She grew up in Portland, Oregon. After high school she moved to New York City.

Her time with Soulwax was documented in the 2008 rockumentary Part of the Weekend Never Dies.

She is of Chinese and Korean descent.

She is longtime friends with Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs fame.
