American Republican politician who was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2012. He ran unsuccessfully for Lieutenant Governor of Missouri in 1984.

He studied journalism, agricultural communications, and community issues at the University of Missouri.

His made his first foray into politics by working as a research analyst for the Missouri House of Representatives.

He was born in Anabel, Missouri. As an adult, he lived in Kirksville, Missouri.

He stated publicly that he was a strong admirer of United States President Ronald Reagan .
