Known best for founding the InfoSpace (later renamed Blucora) internet service, this Indian entrepreneur also established and headed both the Inome public records company and the visionary Moon Express lunar exploration and mining organization.

After graduating from the Indian Institute of Technology with a degree in engineering, he received his Master of Business Administration degree from the XLRI School of Business and Human Resources.

At the height of his career with Infospace, he was included on Forbes magazine's 2000 list of the wealthiest Americans.

A native of Uttar Pradesh, India, he later settled in Medina, Washington, U.S.A., with his wife and his children Neil, Priyanka, and Ankur.

He became a trustee of Peter Diamandis ' space travel-aimed X Prize Foundation.
