ABOUT NAVIN CHOWDHRY
English actor who has gained fame for his roles as Indra Ganesh in Doctor Who , Sunil Mitesh in The Job Lot, and as Nish Panesar in the BBC soap opera EastEnders . He has amassed over 60 different acting roles throughout his on-screen career.
In 1988, he made his acting debut in the 1988 film, Madame Sousatzka alongside Shabana Azmi . In 1994, he graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in biochemistry.
He has also appeared in the 2017 film Star Wars: The Last Jedi . He posts primarily behind-the-scenes content on his navinchowdhryofficial Instagram account.
He is the son of Simi and Mohindra Chowdhry. Mohindra is an author. He and his wife had two sons together.
He starred alongside Suranne Jones and Bertie Carvel in the television series Doctor Foster : A Woman Scorned.
