ABOUT NAZIRA SACASA

Self-proclaimed curvy style expert and positive body advocate notable for her Nazira blog where she encourages women to love their "curvaceous body," embrace "vivacious style" and live an "audacious life." She launched a social media marketing and digital public relations agency called Sacasa Media in 2010.

She obtained a bachelor of arts degree in communication and media studies from Marymount Manhattan College.

Her background is in social media marketing. She has done some modeling part-time and has earned more than 50,000 followers on Instagram.

At the age of 12, her Central American-residing aunt told her if she lost 50 lbs by Christmas she would buy Nazira a new wardrobe. After failing to achieve the goal, she began her realization of being comfortable in her own skin regardless of body image. Her mother's name is Nazira.

She and Milly Smith are both body positivity advocates.
