Midfielder who has risen to fame for his career in the English Premier League for Leicester City F.C., with whom he signed in 2017. He scored his first goal for the squad during the 2017 English FA Cup.

He made his pro debut in the Belgian Pro League for Genk in 2015.

He was named the best Nigerian soccer player and to the All Africa squad by France Football Magazine in 2018. He represented Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup.

His wife's name is Dinma Fortune.

He and Kasper Schmeichel have played as teammates for Leicester City F.C.
