ABOUT NEIL HUMPHREYS

English humor writer and columnist known for a trilogy of comic books on the topic of Singapore. His popular titles include Final Notes from a Great Island and Notes From an Even Smaller Island.

At the age of twenty-two, he moved from London to Singapore, spending his early years in his new country teaching drama at a local high school.

He worked as a humor columnist for a Singapore English-language publication called Today.

He and his wife Tracy raised one daughter. He details his journey to parenthood in a 2008 book entitled Be My Baby: On the Road to Fatherhood.

He and fellow Englishman Russell Ash both had prominent careers as humor writers.
