ABOUT NG MAN-TAT
The recipient of a 1991 Hong Kong Film Award for his supporting role as Rambo in the film A Moment of Romance, this popular actor also earned a Golden Bell Award nomination for his starring role in the Taiwanese television series The Hospital.
Early in his career, he appeared in a late 1970s film titled Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre.
He was cast against type in the 1998 movie Portland Street Blues.
He grew up in Hong Kong in a family with roots in China's Fujian province.
He acted in several mo lei tau-genre comedy films directed by Stephen Chow .
