ABOUT NICHOLAS F. BRADY

United States Secretary of the Treasury under Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush from 1988 to 1993. He was as a United States Senator from New Jersey for 8 months in 1982.

He received his M.B.A. from Harvard University in 1954.

The Brady Plan, which was named after him, was a plan to use dollar-denominated bonds to reduce debt in developing countries.

He has four children with his wife Katherine.

He was appointed the 68th United States Secretary of the Treasury by President Ronald Reagan in 1988.
