He attended high school in Hudson, New Hampshire before heading to Point Park University to study Modern Dance in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He was also the understudy for the role of Crutchie on Newsies.

He has a sister named Kate Masson.

He joined Morgan Keene as a cast member of Disney's Newsies.
