ABOUT NICK BALLARD

Movie and television actor famous for his roles in Deviant Love, The Haves and the Have Nots , and Modern Family . He played Dax in 10 episodes of Tyler Perry 's TLC series, Too Close to Home , the network's first scripted series. He has acted in several theatre productions over the years, including A Singular They and Burners. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the Stage Raw Theatre Awards in 2017.

He made his television debut in 2004 as Michael Carlin in Dr. Vegas. He landed his first movie role in 2011 in the film Black Velvet.

Ballard starred in an episode of the multi-Emmy winning show, Modern Family, which first aired on April 1, 2015. His 2011 play, Heavier Thangs was featured in the Los Angeles Times on two separate occasions. He promotes his acting career and shares photos of his family and friends on his 1nickballard Instagram page, which has amassed 7,000 followers.

He and Natalie Fabry got married and have a daughter.

She and Danielle Savre star in Too Close to Home.
