ABOUT NICK KOCHER

Writer, performer, and actor distinguished for having written for several seasons of Saturday Night Live and co-created the comedy duo BriTANick. He portrayed the role of Chet on the multi award-nominated comedy series Next Time on Lonny and has also appeared on series like How I Met Your Mother and Another Period .

He met Brian McElhaney met while attending summer camp as children, and they went on to form a comedic duo together called BriTANick. He went on to study drama at New York University and made his on-screen acting debut portraying Kip in the 2008 short film Loch Lomond.

He has earned numerous accolades throughout his career, including a Best Comedy/Variety/Sketch Series from the Writers Guild of America, for his work as a writer on Saturday Night Live in 2018. He has also earned nominations from the Streamy Awards for writing and acting.

In 2013, he wrote an essay for the NY Observer about his father and brother called "The Tallest Men on Earth: A Father and Two Sons Take on Mt. Kilimanjaro - and Try Not to Die." He married Guardians of the Galaxy actress Karen Gillan in May of 2022, and they announced that they were expecting their first child together in September 2024. They welcomed their first child in December 2024.

From 2016 to 2017, he co-wrote for Saturday Night Live, along with Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider .
