Physical attacking midfielder known for a powerful shot and good finishing abilities who signed with the Premier League's Manchester United as an 18-year-old in 2012.

His youth career began in 1999 with Crewe Alexandra.

He has played for several of England's youth national teams.

He grew up with his family in Crewe, England.

Midfielder Tom Cleverley also has played for Manchester United and has gone to Wigan Athletic on loan.
