ABOUT NICKY BUTT

English former soccer player best known for his twelve-year stint with Manchester United. Following his retirement, he became a manager for the Manchester United reserve team and partial owner of Salford City.

He was born in Gorton and began his youth career with Manchester United in 1991.

He won the Hong Kong FA Cup and Hong Kong League Cup with South China in 2011.

He married Shelley Barlow in 2008.

He and Kieron Dyer both represented England at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
