ABOUT NICO SCHLOTTERBECK

Professional defender that was signed by the German based football club Borussia Dortmund of the Bundesliga in May 2022. He played for the German men's national team in 2021 during the World Cup qualifiers. He has played in over 100 club matches during his professional career.

He began his soccer career playing for the VfR Aalen youth squad. At the age of 14, he left VfR Aalen for Karlsruher SC.

He made his senior international debut playing against the Israeli national team on March 26, 2022. He started and played all 90 minutes of the match. He is also sponsored by Adidas.

He grew up living with his parents and his older brother, Keven, in Germany. His brother, Keven, began his professional soccer career in 2015 playing for the German football club TSG Backnang 1919.

He played alongside Manuel Neuer as a member of the German men's national team in 2022.
