Danish star most well known for bringing to life Vagn Skærbæk in the first series of the hit crime drama The Killing. He has also starred in films like The Bench, The Reunion, and In Your Hands.
One of his earliest roles was in the 1996 mini-series Charlot og Charlotte.

He and his partner, Birgitte Næss-Schmidt, have three children, Mollie, Roberta, and Louis.
