She graduated from the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart before studying broadcast journalism at the University of Miami .

She wrote for the Miami New Times for nearly three years.

Her family hails from Havana, Cuba. She has a brother.

She appeared alongside Demi Burnett on The Bachelor in 2019.
