German professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Hertha BSC. He's also played for the U-17, 18, 19 and 21 German National teams.

During his youth career he played for FSV Ipsheim, TSV Neustadt/Aisch and FC Nürnberg. He would make is professional debut in 2013 with FC Nürnberg.

He transferred to Hertha BSC in 2015, but not after making a German Cup appearance with Nürnberg.

He was born in Neustadt an der Aisch, Germany.

John Anthony Brooks has also played soccer for Hertha BSC.
