Tight end who was taken in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins. As a college player with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, he was a Second-Team All-Big 12 selection.

He attended Omaha North High School in his home town in Omaha, Nebraska.

He was named Offensive MVP of the Holiday Bowl in 2009.

His parents are Marjorie and Nick DeCosta-Paul.

He and linebacker Ryan Kerrigan were both taken by the Redskins in the 2011 NFL Draft.
