Striker who made his senior debut in 2002 for Internacional. He was a member of Brazil's national team from 2003 to 2011.

He played his youth soccer for Internacional from 1999-2001.

He played for Corinthians from 2005-2007, and scored 30 goals in just 59 appearances.

He married Laura Guimaraes in 2009.

As a member of Brazil's national team he made many appearances alongside legend Ronaldinho .
