ABOUT NINA DIAZ

Indie rock singer and guitarist best known for her time with the band Girl in a Coma. In 2007, the band released their debut album, Both Before I'm Gone.

At age 13, she began singing, writing, and playing guitar for Girl in a Coma. At age 17, after a performance in the Knitting Factory in New York City, the band was signed to Joan Jett 's GIAC label.

In 2011, the band's album Exits & All the Rest was featured as one of National Public Radio's 50 Favorite Albums of the Year. In 2014, she left Girl in a Coma to work on her own solo material.

She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas.

In 2015, she collaborated with Tiesto on the song, "In Your Mind."
