ABOUT NINA GORDON

Co-founder and vocalist for the band Veruca Salt, the group that released "Seether" and "Volcano Girls."

She formed Veruca Salt in the mid-90s alongside Louise Post .

She left the band in 1998 to pursue a solo career.

She married musician Jeff Russo and the couple welcomed a daughter in 2006 and a son in 2008.

Her band was inspired by James Hetfield 's band Metallica.
