ABOUT NUGZAR KVIRTIYA
Former midfielder and social media star that played soccer professionally for 11 years before retiring in 2018. During his professional club career, he played soccer professionally in countries such as Georgia, Tunisia, Azerbaijan and Russia. Upon his retirement, he then began posting content on his self-titled nugzarkvirtiya TikTok profile which has accumulated over 2.1 million followers and 35 million likes.
He first began his amateur soccer career as a member of the FC Dinamo Tbilisi youth soccer team. He also played for FC Zorky Krasnogorsk, Spartak Moscow and FC Khimki as a teenager.
In 2014, he made ES Zarzis club history after becoming the first Georgian-born soccer player ever to play professionally in the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1. After two club seasons, he eventually left Zarzis in 2015 to rejoin his former team Shuvalan FK.
He lives with his wife, Inna, and their child. His daughter's name is Gabrielle.
He is good friends with fellow soccer players Nani and Neymar .
