ABOUT NYLA THORBOURNE

Singer and songwriter who rose to fame as a member of the duo Brick & Lace alongside her sister Nyanda . They released their first album Love Is Wicked in 2007.

Prior to her success with Brick & Lace she attended Miami Dade College followed by University of Miami.

In 2013 she released her first solo single, "Stand up," and the following year she released "Body Calling."

Aside from Nyanda she has two other sisters, Candace and Tasha. Tasha was originally a member of Brick & Lace, and after her departure she continued to write songs with her sisters.

She was featured in Major Lazer's "Light It Up (Remix)" alongside Fuse ODG .
