South Korean R&B and soul singer, composer, entertainer, artist, performer, musician, vocalist, songwriter, and music producer who is known for the hit and popular songs "Moon Walk" (2024), "sherlock"(2020), "girl (feat.BLOO) (2020), and "necessary girl" (2020).
He began as a bedroom producer by experimenting with music on his own. He began gaining a following by sharing his music online, which eventually led to him being signed and releasing his first album. He made his debut with the EP Luv-fi (2018) in March 2018.
He went by the name "Ocean" before changing his stage name to "oceanfromtheblue." He has pet snails. He is signed under Nostalgia Music. He is also known for the albums NEWRNBERA (2023), forward (2021), and Luv-fi 2020 (2020).
He was born Kang Ju-won. He was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea.
