ABOUT OIHANE HERNáNDEZ

Professional right-back and athlete that originally signed her first club contract with Athletic Bilbao as a teenager in the year 2019. After four seasons, she then signed a multi-year deal with Real Madrid in July of 2023. She is also a member of the Spanish women's national team.

As a kid, she played for the Betiko Neskak youth squad. She initially joined Betiko Neskak in the year 2010.

While playing for Team Spain, she helped her team win the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. By doing so, she helped Team Spain win their first ever World Cup title. On September 2, 2022, Oihane made her Spain senior national team debut in the penultimate game of World Cup qualifiers against Hungary, when she came on as a 77th-minute substitute for Olga Carmona. A few days later, she was in the starting XI against Ukraine.

She was born and raised in Sopela, Spain.

She played alongside Alexia Putellas as a member of Team Spain during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
