ABOUT OLIVIA KEMP
British visual artist known for her intricate pen and ink drawings that blend real-world landscapes with imagined elements. Her work has been featured at The Royal Collection and the Victoria and Albert Museum. She is also known for sharing her illustrations on Instagram with over 210,000 followers.
She pursued a BA in Fine Art: Painting at Winchester School of Art and graduated in 2011. She then completed an MA in Drawing at Wimbledon College of Art in 2013. She undertook The Drawing Year postgraduate program at The Royal Drawing School in 2014.
She has received several awards, including the Richard Ford Award from the Royal Academy of Arts in 2015 and The Drawing Prize from National Open Art in 2016. She showcased her solo exhibition Fieldwork and other exhibits at the James Freeman Gallery. She takes artistic inspiration from photography, observational sketches, and personal memories from her travels.
She is a dog owner.
