In between school when he first arrived in America, he discovered his interest in bodybuilding.

He is also a personal trainer. He has posted Instagram photos with other athletes showcasing their calisthenics. His YouTube page hosts his how-to videos for beginners.

He is Cuban-American, and moved to Miami, Florida with his family when he was 13 years old. He has a son.
