ABOUT OZNUR YILDIRUM

Author and novelist who is known for publishing several young adult books in Turkey. She has won several awards for her writing and her young adult novels have been well received.

With a passion for writing at a young age, she began by writing short stories which received critical acclaim. After finding her own voice mixed in with her passion, she set out to write longer works and finished several novels.

She has won several awards and recognition for her writing including the 2014 recognition awards from the Jury of Morbidezaa for her short story.

She was born and raised in Edirne, Turkey.

As a writer from Turkey, she can be seen in relation to other authors from the area including Orhan Pamuk , Nazim Hikmet , and Elif Safak .
