Winger who played internationally for Scotland from 1986-1996 and played professionally from 1981-2000 for several clubs.

He was rejected from Celtic's youth program because he was thought to be too small.

From 1983-1988, he played for Chelsea.

He has two children, Simon and Lucy.

Midfielder Graham Souness was his teammate on the Scottish national team.
