ABOUT PATRICK MCLAIN

American goalkeeper who began his MLS career with Chivas USA in 2012. He played for the Orange County Blues, Sacramento Republic, and Chicago Fire, before joining Minnesota United FC in 2017.

He played college soccer at California Polytechnic State University from 2007 to 2011.

He first played professionally for the Portland Timbers U23 club in 2009.

He was born to Laurie and Bill McLain in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

He and Oswaldo Minda both joined Chivas USA in 2012.
