ABOUT PATTI YASUTAKE

American stage, film, and television actress who is best known for her portrayal of Nurse Alyssa Ogawa in the Star Trek franchise. In 2023, she played Fumi Nakai in the first season of Beef . She had amassed over 60 acting roles throughout her prolific career.

Her television acting career began in 1985 with an appearance on the show T.J. Hooker .

She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female in 1988 for her role in The Wash . She worked as the Administrative Director of the Howard Fine Acting Studio.

She is the sister of Irene Hirano. She and her husband reside in Hollywood, California. She passed away from a rare form of  T-cell lymphoma at the age of 70.

In August 2007, she appeared on stage with Suzie Plakson at the Star Trek Las Vegas Convention.
