ABOUT PAUL WILLIAMS
Baritone singer who rose to fame as a founding member of the Motown group The Temptations . Several of his standout recordings with the band include the songs "I Want a Love I Can See" and "Farewell My Love." His declining health led to an early retirement prior to his death in 1973.
As a teenager, he and his friends formed a singing group called The Cavaliers.
He choreographed performances for both The Temptations and The Supremes . He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.
He was the son of Sophia and Rufus Williams.
