ABOUT PAYTON TURNER

Former first rounder that was originally selected by the New Orleans Saints during the 2021 NFL Draft. After three years with New Orleans, he was then signed by the Dallas Cowboys . He primarily plays the position of defensive end.

Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Houston . Following his junior season, he was named a member of the second team All-AAC.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Carolina Panthers during week two of the 2021 regular season. He played in 5 games during his rookie season.

He was born and raised in Houston, Texas.

He was selected during the 2021 NFL Draft just like Trevor Lawrence .
