ABOUT PEACE HYDE
British-Ghanaian television producer, TV host, creator, journalist, and education activist. She is the creator and executive producer of Netflix's first African reality TV series Young, Famous & African. In 2019, she received the Social Impact Africa Award in the House of Parliament in the UK.
She graduated from Middlesex University with a psychology degree. During her early years in London, she briefly practiced as a child psychologist before embarking on a career as a science teacher specializing in physics, chemistry, and biology. She moved to Ghana in 2012.
She was a founding member of Aim Higher Africa, a non-profit organization focused on improving the standard of education in poor communities in Africa. In 2018, she was selected from 200 leaders of the Obama Foundation's Leaders in Africa program.
She was born and raised in London, where she lived until 2015, before she relocated to Ghana. After burying her father in his native Ghana, she decided to move there.
She is the creator and executive producer of Netflix's first African reality TV series Young, Famous & African. Her guests have included Jeremiah Ogbodo , Khanyi Mbau , Zari Hassan , and Diamond Platnumz .
