ABOUT PEDRO CHAGAS FREITAS

Award-winning author who has published several dozen Portuguese novelsduring his career, including A Pele do Medo (2010) and Prometo Perder (2016). He is a professional public speaker as well as a recipient of the Young Creators Award from the National Cultural Centre in Portugal.

He studied linguistics at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

His book Prometo Falhar (2014) was adapted into a 2018 feature film of the same name.

He married Bárbara Teixeira.
