ABOUT PETER AMORY
Actor best known for playing Chris Tate on the popular ITV soap opera "Emmerdale" from 1989 to 2003. He later made his feature film debut in the 2009 horor film "Tormented."
He made his credited acting debut on a 1987 episode of the series "Boon."
He was nominated for a British Soap Award for Villain of the Year for his role as Chris Tate.
He has a son named Thomas. He married Claire King in 1994, but the couple separated in 2004.
He co-starred with Mark Charnock on "Emmerdale" for more than a decade.
