ABOUT PETER DEAN
Television actor who made a name for himself for his roles in British soap operas. From 1979 to 1980, he played Jeff Bateman in Coronation Street . He landed the role of Pete Beale in EastEnders in the mid-1980s and remained on the program until 1993.
He started taking drama lessons at the age of 14.
He was offered his role on EastEnders by producer Julia Smith . After leaving the show, he worked as a security guard.
He has a daughter named Leah.
He and June Brown worked together on the cast of EastEnders.
