English actor who appeared in The Moon-Spinners in 1964 and gave co-star Hayley Mills her first grown-up kiss on screen. His other films include I Killed Rasputin and The Cat and the Canary.

He grew up in Walsall, England and studied stage acting at a young age.

He is the older brother of actor John McEnery.

He was married to actress Julie Peasgood and they had a daughter named Kate.

He starred with actress Hayley Mills in the film, The Moon-Spinners.
